The PROTECT project team is delighted to announce that on September 18th and 19th, 2023, three virtual e-pitching sessions with providers of Earth Observation climate services will be organised:

  • Monday 18 September 2023 from 15:30 to 17:00 CEST
  • Tuesday 19 September 2023 from 09:00 to 10:30 CEST
  • Tuesday 19 September 2023 from 14:30 to 16:00 CEST

These e-pitching sessions will serve to validate and enrich the findings of the completed mapping exercise of EO climate services and providers, and of the ongoing state of the art of Research & Development of EO-based climate services (Patent search, TRL level, etc.).

During these e-pitching sessions, providers will be invited to briefly present the climate services they already commercialise, but more importantly, their ongoing research & developments efforts and activities in the field of EO climate services (TRL 2 to 6) that could lead to the development of new innovative EO climate services.

In order to best assist providers in the preparation of their e-pitch, the PROTECT team will hold an online briefing event with providers (participation is optional) on the 14 September 2023 from 11:30 to 12:30 CEST to explain the preparation (template presentation, time allocation, etc.) and roll out process of the e-pitching sessions. By participating to this briefing event, providers will also have the opportunity to ask specific questions and/ or raise specific concerns.
